"Demon Girls" is an unofficial "Helltaker" fangame, a cute and fun demake made by Juice Lizard, initially for the Gamebuino Meta.

Code in C with Arduino IDE

Pixel art with Piskel

Mega Drive code by SpritesMind

Super Nintendo code by Alekmaul Studio

"Vitality" remix by JX

"Alchemy" remix by Kriss Wyse (from the GGS Studio Creation team, who made "The Cursed Knight")

The Mega Drive demo is here! Pandemonica welcomes you in the first level. And the complete game is now available, both in english and french, for the Gamebuino Meta ($ 5.00).

Here is the new french console to increase your programming skills: https://gamebuino.com/fr.

"Demon Girls" is also free and open source on Gamebuino Meta, but in an old version, where sprites are only 16x16 pixels.

Use my promo code BADGER in the online Gamebuino shop and you will save 6 euros on your order.

I wrote two songs that enhance the Gamebuino Meta version of the game. But you can listen to them on my Youtube channel too:

Will the Genesis version get finished? or is it only a proof-of-concept?

The Genesis version is 75% finished. I hope it will be released asap but I can't promise anything.

Hello, here is the level almost done. You're close to the end!

so i managed to beat that stage, but seriously the web version is broken or something it keeps crashing and i couldnt get to see the ending....

Hey, i think there must be something wrong with the last cutscene after the 7th puzzle, i think you should recheck the web version ( and maybe make an playable version of the game for windows as well ).

I just tried the web version and I went through the last cutscene and loop the game as intended. Are you stuck where you must keep pressing A: [J] and press the directions as shown in the screen? After that the game loops with a funny feature. But keep in mind that the online emulator is a bad version compare to the game on the real Gamebuino Meta. I don't know how to make a windows version, but you are right, it would be good (and I have a Mac). The game on the real device runs faster and with sound.

you should post an instruction showing how to open and play the game tho, i downloaded the file, extracted it and nothing but only the game files.

Hello! Thank you for trying to play my game. When you download it, itch.io shows you a new page with the instruction: "Put the folder named "binaries" to the micro SD card of your Gamebuino Meta, and rename it "DemonGirls". If you don't own that device, you can play the game online here: https://gamebuino.com/fr/creations/demon-girls If you know how to code, you can use the ino files with the IDE Arduino to see how the game is coded, and maybe change it to make your own version…"
